Ricardo Breceda, World Famous Sculptor "Saving the Chi Chis!"

Ricardo Breceda, World-Famous Sculptor Announces that Everything Must Go!

Ricardo Breceda, originally from Durango, Mexico had his art studio & welding shop in Perris for 10 years and moved it to Vail Lake Resort in Temecula in January. Already outgrowing his new space, he needs to sell his current inventory of unique pieces immediately.

An Open House is planned for Saturday and Sunday June 29 and 30 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. There will be music, food and self-guided tours throughout his studio and Vail Lake Resort to view the hundreds of sculptures and garden pieces that range from $30 to several thousands of dollars. The studio is located at 38000 Highway 79 South in Temecula just nine miles East of I-15.

“I will give you a good deal, even barter, but everything must go! I am working on new ideas and need the space to bring in new pieces to my shop.” Breceda announced. “Besides, my daughter just graduated from high school and needs a new car for college. She has expensive taste and wants a Stingray!”

Breceda received world-wide notoriety when Dennis Avery, from the Avery Label family hired him to design and install giant pieces at Galleta Meadows in Borrego Springs.

Because of that relationship, Breceda has installed 133 sculptures in the Anza Borrego desert that has increased tourism to that area by 10,000 more visitors each year.

Breceda has become known in Temecula for the sculptures and life-size metal stagecoach at the entrance to Vail Lake Resort and the horses jumping over State Route 79 South, nine miles East of the I-15.

“People stop here all the time to visit my studio and tour through Vail Lake because of the horses on 79. Every winery and business in town would increase business if they put one of my sculptures out in front of their place!”

Because he wants to become a closer member of the community Breceda will be giving a portion of his proceeds and collecting donations for local breast cancer research and services.

Jill Roberts, local painter and muralist will also be displaying art and holding an art+vino acrylic painting class. www.artplusvino.com
