Rod Run Rolls into Old Town

The Show and Shine is set for Saturday.

The 's main event is slated for all day Saturday in Old Town.
The "Show and Shine" will happen along Front Street 8 a.m.-4 p.m., according to organizers.

Organizers expect more than 70,000 attendees to crowd the event, which is set to include a celebrity zone, live entertainment, a "little rodder" zone and venders.

Pre-1974 vehicles were invited to participate. The event benefits numerous local and nonlocal nonprofit organizations, including the Progeria Research Foundation, VFW Post 4049, Michelle's Place, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Boy Scouts of America, Temecula and Murrieta Food Pantries, the Riverside County Rape Crisis Center and the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest County.
