This Week in Temecula: Panera Bread Goes Orange; New Local Events Calendar

Here are five things to know during the week of Sept. 2 in Temecula, Calif.

1. In recognition of Hunger Action Month, Panera Bread® in Temecula is among 74 bakery-cafes in Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Riverside, Santa Barbara and San Bernardino counties that will donate $1 to their local food bank for each guest who registers for the MyPanera® loyalty program from Sept. 1 through Sept. 30, up to $15,000. Panera Bread customers who are existing MyPanera members can contribute by donating funds to their local food bank through in-store Community Breadbox™ cash collection boxes. 

2. The governing board of the Temecula Valley Unified School District is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Board meetings are held in TVUSD's  Conference Facility (enter through Conference Room D), at 31350 Rancho Vista Road, Temecula. The public is invited to attend. To view the agenda, click here.

3. The Temecula Valley Museum is accepting vendor reservations for its Biannual Bazaar to be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at Sam Hicks Monument Park. The cost is $25 for a 10-foot by 10-foot space. Vendors may promote their organization or sell crafts and other approved items. All reservation proceeds benefit the Temecula Valley Museum. The event is sponsored by the museum’s Board of Directors in cooperation with members of the Temecula Valley Woman’s Club. 4. Temecula Valley Entrepreneurs Exchange is hosting two events this week. From 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, there is the VYP Professional Evolution Series – “Electronic Identity—What are my Internet Marketing Options and What’s Best for my Business?” For more information and registration, contact tiffany@temecula.org.
