They have not approved any new "bars" outside of old town but have approved at least 5-6…Read More breweries that serve their beer. It's a fine line how they define these things. I think Canvas and Cabernet is going to be a challenge to do well here in Temecula...but the City should not stop her from trying!

I went with a large group of people to this event yesterday. We had fun hanging out with our…Read More friends. The food & drinks were great, but is was expensive and the music was horrible! Events like that need more upbeat & fun music, not something that will put you to sleep or make you feel bored! Not sure that we will return next year but if we do decide to give it another chance, I hope the music will be much better.

Michele, no need to get mad over that. Suffering doesn't necessarily mean like its a bad thing. It…Read More can just mean struggles. She struggles with Asperger's syndrome. It's like the same thing. It's true they do struggle/suffer at times. I have aspergers and it is struggling sometimes and sometimes I'm suffering. It's hard to have it and in a way you can suffer from it. I'm glad I have it because I view the world differently and I think different from others and people don't know how I feel, so I feel special. So sometimes it is suffering.

You've made a good point and it has been duly noted. Now is the time in our understanding of AS…Read More that we choose enriching words to describe AS minds in the same way that those minds enrich our world. No one can argue that AS brings with it a downside to be managed but by the same token, it brings a tremendous upside and creativity to be celebrated - a blessing. Kylie illustrates that beautifully. She is blessed.

"...who suffers from Asperger's syndrome." This always drives me mad; suffer from. My son…Read More does not suffer from AS. The people that don't understand or appreciate his differences are the only suffering that comes from AS. Those that do appreciate his differences enrich him because the only real difference is in how and when people with AS do things. Of course we all do things at a different pace when we don't let society or peer pressure make our choices for us, so AS people are basically well-balanced normal people who don't bother to let society dictate who they are or will become. <3
And I applaud this young woman and her family for the example they are making!

I totally get that CommCare. I know how that works.
Which helps the fact that the funds were gotten…Read More from somewhere correct to fix the building errors by the contractors correct?
We also would not have paid them their last 20 to 30% percent check at the time it was completed and our building department went through and saw the things that were not done correctly, right? So we would have withheld that remaining ammount. Which I might think the contractor wanted pretty badly.
These comments by the City from the above the constant comments we get from when they do not want to get off their hind ends and get these things done and taken care of, and properly. The FIRST TIME.
Then we could see about transferring monies to other areas, pay off some other taxes, or at least show some kind of damn movement.

Yes, I sure do notice them Michael, every single one. Having a bad back it jars me to death. :/ I…Read More think they try to repair peter to save paul is what they do. So it lookslike there is no funds in one area when there is in another. There is a longer explanation but I am too tired to write it all out right now.

John, your review of history is a pure failure. I don't even know where to begin correcting your…Read More ignorance. Your statement about John Hanson made me chuckle. If you're going to spout nonsense with a lot of stretched truth with a frothy mix of lies, you could, at the very least, not take yourself so seriously. Your post has so much rubbish that it's not worth correcting. Go read your history books, find several other sources, check your facts again, and then speak with a group that actually knows and understands "Black History."
john blackwood February 9, 2013 at 02:04 pm
In fact it was John hanson who was the first Black President . It was propesed in jun-11-76 . But…Read More congress did not agree untill Nov-15-77 After it was approved by congress John Hanson was chosen unanimously which included (George Washinton ) this part of history is very important to share with your kids . I am not black or mexican or asian I am American .Now lets see if the patch crew has the courage to post the truth which this is .

Also mexican pride month . I always thought that between the west coast and the east cost it is all…Read More American history month . I tried to post a little history requarding the civil war but the Patch crew doesnt want the truth to be told so Ill try again . The reason for the civil war was because the government at that time wanted to raise unreasonable taxes on the south . So the south new it was wrong . It wasnt untill later in the war that Lincoln said this war was about freeing Americans from slavery . This is why the war was justified . But the north also had just as many Americans being treated as slaves . Quote I do not say just slaves because once they were brought on this soil by force they were American . Also after the civil war they fail to mention that (MOST NOT ALL ) did not want to leave due to the fact they the enslaved Americans were treated good (Most not all Mind you) History even lies about Obama being the first Black president that is a lie .

Jerry, We were thinking of a public Earth Day clean up. Do you think former shooters would show up?…Read More We could beautify this place and repair the land, trees and plants. It's a shame that no one is willing to help these pepole to clean up the mess they made on this…Read More property everyone keeps talking about rights... what about the rights of the land owners... Maybe the Patch and Dorland Arts Colony could make a weekend for people to help clean up....
