Ashley Ingram has served her community since the first time she volunteered for the California Republican Party at the age of 14. Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley to a middle class family who owns a construction and developing company, her parents have volunteered for numerous grassroots organizations since the Reagan Administration and taught her the importance of civic duty.

Ashley attended College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita and started the campus’ very first College Republicans group which took nearly two years of strenuous work to start. Ingram’s first community job was working for the City of Los Angeles’ Parks and Recreation division as a Recreation Assistant and sat on the Studio City Neighborhood Council rallying on behalf of more funding and park maintenance for local recreation centers in the Eastern San Fernando Valley while staying deeply involved with the “Girls Play L.A.” athletics program.

As a long time advocate for getting youth involved on the campaign trail, Ingram interned for Governor Schwarzenegger during his re-election campaign and for the Victory 2006 program. Ingram was in charge of the youth coalition and precinct operations in the San Fernando Valley, an area spanning from Woodland Hills to Burbank. During this time Ingram worked on numerous congressional and assembly races.

During the 2007 presidential primary season, Ingram was a Field Representative and ran the state wide headquarters for Rudy Giuliani. Under Ingram’s direction over 80,000 volunteer calls were placed and 400 active volunteers managed. Giuliani for President was the largest campaign in California during the primary season with over 1 million voters contacted statewide. During this time, Ingram began to procure her skills as a social media strategist utilizing social media and networking to its fullest capacity. When kicking off Senator Tony Strickland’s first Facebook fan page and profile, Ingram drew in nearly five hundred new volunteers to the campaign that had never been politically active until contacted and connected thru Facebook. Since then Ingram has written for numerous blogs including Flashreport, California Political News and Views and has been featured in newspapers such as the Los Angeles Times, Daily News, and other newspapers across the state and country. Ingram frequently appears as a guest on radio shows such as John and Ken, NPR’s Larry Mantle Show, Kevin James, Doug McIntyre, TJ McCormack on LA Talk Radio, and various other shows to give commentary on California politics.

As an active member of her community, Ingram is involved in many organizations and clubs including Chairman of the Temecula Valley Young Republicans, Founding president of the College Republicans at College of the Canyons, Operation Gratitude, and the Catholic Youth Organization.

Ingram has recently worked on various local campaigns including Outreach Director for the Steve Cooley for Attorney General campaign, Deputy Campaign Manager and Volunteer Coordinator for Tony Strickland’s state senate race in Thousand Oaks California, and 72 Hour Program Coordinator for Chris Christie’s Governor’s race in New Jersey with both races resulting in wins. Ingram is a California Republican Party Executive Board member, and advocate for blood and cell donation hosting numerous drives across Southern California yearly for the National “Be The Match” registry.
